Eastwood Remembrance Day Parade

Eastwood Town Council and the Royal British Legion have arranged the Remembrance Sunday Service and Parade, which will take place in Eastwood on the above date.
The service at St Mary’s Church, Eastwood will commence at 9.30 a.m. and those who wish to attend should be in the Church no later than 9.15 a.m. This will then be followed at 10.40 a.m. by a parade of uniformed groups, Civic Dignitaries and Royal British Legion Members from the Church to the two memorials on Nottingham Road. Laying of wreaths will take place at both locations.
The Royal British Legion and the Town Council extends a cordial invitation to all community groups and residents to attend this important civic event. An invitation is also extended to any serving members of H M Forces from Eastwood, and their families, to join the Legion and the Town Council during the service, the parade and at the Council Civic reception to be held at the New Horizon, AOG Church, Nottingham Rd, NG16 3GR. Serving members of H M Forces are invited to join the civic group around the Memorial at Plumptre Way.
